DNA is easier to extract from some tissues like liver than other e.g,. Fibrous tissues such as muscle, or fatty tissues such as brain, are more difficult to extract and purify. Since DNA obtained from an individual is identical in every tissue, liver is often chosen since the organ is large, easy to locate and remove, and DNA is easily extracted from it. liver can regenerate, and easily available.
