    Answer is (C). The net ATP gained would be 3. In the whole process there is Gross Production of 2 ATP at substrate level +1 NADP which is equivalent of 3 ATP = (5net ATP) Whereas there is loss of 2 ATP during addition of Phosphate group. Thus there is a net production of 3 ATP = (5-2).
