Q1 2.44 density of chlorine relative to air =density of chlorine/density of air for the same volume relative density =mass od chlorine/mass of air Chlorine (Cl2) has a molecular mass of 71. Air is 29. 1 mole of any gas takes up 22.4 liters of volume. So the density is 71 grams per 22.4 liters. Relative to air is just 71/29= 2.44
