See solubility depends on nature of the bond

    eduncle-logo-app

More the covalent character lesser the solubility.

    eduncle-logo-app

You must have studied like dissolve like.

    eduncle-logo-app

AgCl is most ionic among them so most soluble.

    eduncle-logo-app

AgI is least soluble as it has highest covalent character

    Option C

I- ion has a largest size and hence has maximum polarisability. So the covalent character of AgI is maximum among others. So as AgI is the most covalent compound and AgNO3 is an ionic compound, AgI dissolves least and is precipitated out first. Then AgBr and finally AgCl. Also the Ksp values of these salts are in the order of AgCl>AgBr>AgI and hence the ionic product of ions reaches AgI first and hence it is precipitated first.

    eduncle-logo-app

lower solubility product of AgI as compared to other

    eduncle-logo-app

    got this??

    eduncle-logo-app

how can we relate it with electrochemical series

    eduncle-logo-app

for ppt ksp or covalent character is sufficient to decide

    eduncle-logo-app

This is sufficient for solubility and precipitation..

sir how can we relate it to electrochemical series ??

    eduncle-logo-app

here we will correlate it by polarisation
