Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

This problem is based on harker diagram. Here you can see that with the increase in the SiO2 content MgO and CaO content is decreasing and Al2O3 increasing. Harker diagram represents the magmma evolution trend in a particular set of rocks found in an area. So by looking at the given harker diagram we can interpret :- since with the evolution of magma CaO and MgO content is decreasing means the minerals containing CaO and MgO are forming and removing from melt. Olivine contain MgO in its composition and cox contains both CaO and MgO in its composition so these two minerals are formed from the evolution of magma. Plagioclase and alkali feldspar both contain Al2O3 in their composition and here Al2O3 content is increasing so we can say that these two aren't formed from magma. So option A and B are correct.
thank you sir😊
