there is a correction in question instead of 4.2 it is 4200 and the answer given above by animesh anand is wrong

can you please tell me the reason behind the multiplying 1000 in the discussion of heat gained by the surrounding

simply the heat capacity is 4200 and temperature change is 100.

it is 100 not 1000
