    A gas has more disorder and, hence, a higher entropy at a lower pressure, and (ii) a gas has more disorder and, hence, a higher entropy than a liquid. So option D is correct

    Entropy of the system decreases with increase in pressure. Entropy is the degree of randomness of the system.  If pressure on the system is increased , in general the randomness  of the particles gets reduced this is because the volume of system i.e. space available for the movement of the particle decrease with the increase in pressure.
