Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Specifically talking about last option, melting point will never increase when you have started adding some water or increasing water content. Water is usually used as an agent to decrease viscosity as well as melting temperature. Pressure, we already know that it has probable impact on the melting points of the minerals. Increased pressure raises the melting temperature, so obviously melting is less likely to occur at higher pressures. Most probably correct answer should be -- A. Increase in pressure-- Increase in melting point and hence less chances of melting at very high pressures.
