see the MO diagram of O2\nIn O2+ 1 electron is removed from antibonding orbital. So bond length of O2+ will be smaller

sir how vibrational frequency related with bond order and why

    eduncle-logo-app

bond order High means stronger bond. Stronger bond means higher stretching frequency

option B is incorrect BO of O2 is 2.0 and that of O2+ is 2.5 bond length of O2 is greater than O2+ as you know bond length is inversely proportional to bond order

sir how vibrational frequency related with bond order

    eduncle-logo-app

    directly proportional to bond order

    eduncle-logo-app

o2+ has high bond order so high vibrational frequency

option B Explanation- BO of O2 is 2.0 and that of O2+ is 2.5 so bond length of O2 will be greater than O2+ because bond length is inversely proportional to bond order. More the BO more is the vibrational frequencie so O2+ >O2 vibrational frequency
