    can i apply this method because this relation is correct for nacl as fcc

    no, you can't apply because here NaCl type of lattice given and for NaCl there is different formula

    actually formula you've sent is only for FCC but here in NaCl there is octahedral voids also and Cl forms FCC lattice so there is different formula

    because thats also true for nacl as fcc

    got reshav....as radius of atom = edge length/2...so you directly proceed by this formula...when edge length is given...as nacl has simple cubic crystal too in which anions is placed in face centered cubic array... so you can apply these formula as the formula you have mentioned you can use for fcc crystal system

    and radius of atom = radius of cation + radius of anion...so proceed directly
