    As the given conditions and negative energy, When you add more of the product (trans 2 pentene) you will get more of the reactant. Hence option A is the correct answer

    The reaction will follows the Le-chatelier principle. If more product is added, the reaction will shift in the direction that will restore the thermodynamic equilibrium of the system. To restore the system in the equilibrium, product concentration must decrease in this case. Hence more reactants will be formed
