Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Answer of this question surely needs one basic consideration of the fact that it is talking about case when leucite has a cubic nature or isometric nature, whatever you feel right to say. Leucite and Nepheline are the members of feldspathoid family and there is a basic yet important difference. Leucite is probably grey or somewhat white when you are talking about polarisation colors, and same goes with the nepheline. While talking about the relief, then both have low negative relief. Pleochroism is absent in both the cases. The only thing that we are left with is Isotropism, so it can be a probable answer. But this one is also confusing or not well framed pertaining to the question. Leucite have some sense of overlapping or the refractive indices of the characteristic rays are in near proximity, or very close and this lead to pseudocubic structure. They are probably tetragonal, but if one considers their transition to isometric system at some higher temperature. Then option D seems to be apt with the question asked. So if I have to go with an option, it would be D.
