    Dear student C compound will not be used for making Grignard reagent because itself having hydroxy proton which will Quinch the made Grignard reagent . show all other compound can be used for making Grignard reagent but only C compound is not used for making. thank you very much for asking this question if you have any doubt please comment

    option C The halo compounds having acidic H doesn't use to form grignard. reagent because grignard reagent behaves as Base also and we know that Acid Base reactions are dominated so here Acid - Base reaction takes place. In the following case Nucleophilic reaction of RMgX doesn't take place

    option C Explanation:- compound cannot be used to form Grignard reagent as it contains an alcoholic group which immediately react with the Grignard reagent. The alcoholic group is slightly acidic in nature and the hydrogen atom present on the alcohol group react with Grignard's reagent.
