Snowball garnet is an example of syn kinematic mineral growth. In a snowball garnet you can see a swirling type of structure in garnet with some curved layers around it. It represents that the garnet and the surrounding layers are distorted at the same time in a single tectonic event. When the deformation occur in the rock then the layer bent around the garnet and garnet also rotated which formed swirls in it.
