it is given that it burns 3.7g in 1 sec.so in 0.25sec it burns (3.7/0.25)g of petrol =0.925g .1g petrol require 43.6kj energy.so 0.925g of petrol require (0.925×43.6)kj energy =40.33kj. work done by engine in 0.25 sec is 10kj efficiency =work done/ heat absorbed =10/40.33=0.24 24 percent
that should be 3.7× 0.25
