    Because in option C Co is tetrahedral and tetrahedral molecules have no centre of sym so it's laporte partly allowed and spin allowed.... so it's give intense color and it's molar absorptivity in the range of 1000 while in in option b it's laporte partly allowed but spin forbidden.... in a and d both laporte forbidden so c give intense color

    Option C CoCl4 2- Explanation:- Because in option C ,Co is tetrahedral and tetrahedral molecules have no centre of sym so it's laporte partly allowed and spin allowed.. so it's give intense color and it's molar absorptivity in the range of 1000 while in option b ,it is also tetrahedral. So it's laporte partly allowed but spin forbidden).. in (a) and (d) both laporte forbidden(Octahedral geometry) so (c) give intense color
