    The mass of flywheel [m] = 5 kg. Radius of gyration [R] = 0.5m The frequency of flywheel [f] = 300 rev/min. We have 1 min = 60 seconds.  Hence, 300 rev/min = 300/60 rev/sec                                    f= 5 rev/s. The angular velocity w=2(pi)f =10(pi) Moment of inertia I=mR^2 =5×0.5×0.5 =1.25 kgm^2 kinetic energy of rotation=1/2Iw^2 =(1.25×100(pi)^2)/2 =616.225 Joule.
