it should be discontinuous at each and every point because there are infinite number of rational and irrational no in interval (0,1) then why it's continuous at each irrational points?

f(x) is discontinuous at every rational and irrational numbers... because in nbd of rational number infinitely many rational and irrational numbers. similarly in nbd of an irrational numbers infinitely many rational and irrational numbers.
