why is value of t2 divided by e?

    eduncle-logo-app

t2 is simply distance/velocity. After collision with the wall, the ball covers a horizontal distance d. The ball strikes the ball with velocity vcos45°,hence after collision velocity of the ball will be e×vcos45°. Hence t2=distance/velocity=d/evcos45°
