    Here, negative sign before v, in my solution suggests that image will be formed the same side as the object. For sign convention and other theory related queries, you can refer optics by Ajoy Ghatak. Best regards.

    here is the solution. option c is correct. \nthere will be negative sign coming in ans as we are seeing from right and convention is question are for left.Also I would like to mention in these type of questions, keep track of signs always, very usual mistake if you mess with signs, by singal sign mistake you might end up geting option d 3.2cm .
