    Answer: 800 moles Using lever rule; Fraction of Anorthite crystallized as melt composition moves from P to Q is: (90-50) / (100-50) = 40/50 = 0.8 Total number of moles in melt = 900+100 = 1000 From P to Q, only Anorthite will be crystallized. Number of moles of Anorthite crystallized = Fraction × Total number of moles in melt = 0.8 × 1000 = 800 moles Number of moles of Anorthite crystallized = 800
