A projectile is fired from the origin o at angle of 60° from the horizontal. at the highest point p of its trajectory.

    this is ur doubt.. note here theta is the projection angle but phi is the angle that radius of point P(highest point) makes with horizontal... hope it will clear to you . for any doubt u can discuss with me...

    D is the correct ans. Note- While writing the ans put a -ve sign bcoz radial acceleration is inwards.

    at first angle AOB is 60° then why is it taken as phi later?

    60° is the angle wrt ground at which the projectile is projected. It is the angle of initial velocity wrt ground and 'phi' is the angle of line OA wrt ground,where 'A' is the position of projectile when it is at maximum height. So don't confuse 'phi' with 60°
