The new gene gene sequence is 5-GGATTACTATGGCA-3' (a) 3-CCTAATGATACCGT-5 5-GGACATAGTAAGCA-3' (b) 3-CCTGTATCATTCGT-5 5-GGAAATGATACGCA-3' (C) 31-CCTTTACTATGCGT-5' 5-GGAGTATCATTGCA-3' (d) 3'-CCTCATAGTAACGT-5'

Answer is (C). The inversion Will include the inversion of the sequence from one strand & Will go oppositely in the other strand. So the sequence which satisfies is in the C.
