    according to wave machanics partice have continues energy because waves are continuous and every part of wave radiate means have energy ie. wave have continuous energy distribution.

    option b is correct as according to quantum mechanics, free particle in space possess continuous energy but if the system is bounded , then free particle possess discrete energy.
