    acidity of 4 should be greater than 3 na....as conjugate acid of 4 stalbe than 3

    Dear Student...the conjugate base of acetic acid i.e acetate ion is most stable as due to two equivalent resonating structures...but here it is propanioc acid...the +I effect works here which decreases the acidity.

    Now come to 3rd one...see at para position both resonance and inductive effect works...the -I effect of methoxy group increases acidity but at the same time the +R effect of methoxy group decreases acidity...so overall acidity is in intermediate

    1st one is most acidic....It is propiolic acid or propynoic acid
