The question says add 100101, and 1101111. The given answer is 148 which is it's answer in decimal number system. However it has not been told to convert it into decimal. Is writing the answer in binary (10010100) inappropriate?

if it's a NAT question should I write the answer in binary or in decimal?
It depends on question in which form answer ask. if it is ask in binary form then you should write in binary form and if it is ask in decimal form then you should write in decimal form and if answer is not ask in any particular form then you should use binary for this question
