    you can use short trick as NO+ = 7+8-1 = 14e so BO = 3 or you can solve using bond order formula but you can solve it if you know MOT diagram of NO. so im sending you MOT of NO+ please check it

    For CO when you will see the mo in that that non bonding mo has little anti bonding character that's why co+ bond order increases. These are experimentally found

    here CO+ is ..2.5 according to mot total no of e is 6+8 =14 and due to + charge it will be 14-1 =13 so 2.5..?
