At a depth of 250m, a rock body experiences stresses in in-situ condition which have the following values: Maximum horizontal stress = 25 Mpa Minimum horizontal stress = 18 Mpa Vertical stress = 13.5 Mpa. Assume principal stress directions are horizontal and vertical. If this compressivve stress field leads to faulting, the plausible fault would be a Normal fault O O Reverse fault OStrike-slip fault O Detachment fault

Answer should be C. because according to Anderson theory of faulting if your intermediate sigma 2 is vertical then it should be a Strike slip fault.
