At a depth of 250m, a rock body experiences stresses in in-situ condition which have the following values: Maximum horizontal stress = 25 Mpa Minimum horizontal stress = 18 Mpa Vertical stress = 13.5 Mpa. Assume principal stress directions are horizontal and vertical.
