Basicity order

sir in case of CH3 and C2H5 how can we explain the basicity order

    The alkyl groups, which are electron releasing groups, increase the electron density around the nitrogen thereby, increasing the availability of the lone pair of electrons to proton or Lewis acids and making the amine more basic. In simple words more the number of carbons (alkyl chain) higher the basicity.
