    iam confused with case 2, that is at t=infinity how i becomes 1/10.now all my doubt will be cleared

    at t= infinity all current will pass through inductor , no current will pass through r=10 ohm

    so following the path of inductor the resistance in that path is 20 ohm so I=V/R that is 2/20
