Bombay & digboi are of miocene age... suggest answer. sir.

    Yes, they are of same age. But here in the question, they aren't asking about the age. In the question, they are asking about the oilfield in which oil production has started first. Oil production from Digboi oilfield has started much before than in Bombay oilfield. So, the correct answer should be Digboi.

    Answer (C) Digboi Digboi has the distinction of being India's oldest continuously producing oilfield. Other oilfields are relatively younger.
