Calculate particle density of a sandstone block whose mass is 1gm and porosity in 1cm3 is 13%. (answer in two decimal places)

    we know density equal to mass/volume; here asking soil particle density ,so soil particle mass i.e 1gm . volume of soil particle is as 13 percentage is POROSITY then 87 percentage soilparticle . 87 percentage of 1 cm3 is 0.87 cm3. so density = 1gm/ 0.87 cm3 = 1.15
