Calculate the frictitious force and the observed (or total) force on a body of mass 5 kg in a frame of reference moving 1) vertically upward 2) vertically downwards , with an acceleration of 4 m/s² (g = 9.8 m/s²)

    I think instead of 'frictitious force',it should be 'fictitious force' in the question. And fictitious force is nothing but pseudo force.
