Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

ok
simun i have explained this type...that when non classical carbocation type formation occurs say in case of addition of Br2(bromonium ion formed) and in case of hypohalous acid(HOBR,HOCLetc) there is bromonium ion or chloronium ion...then in the next step there is only possibility of attack of reagent from the opposite side so anti product favours...
in case of Halogens acid say Hcl,Hbr etc...then there is mixed product syn and anti because in the first step carbocation formation occur...and carbocation is planar...so attack from both the sides of reagent occur in the next step so both products is formed..
so this is all about stereoselectivity
tq so much
