No, ethyl carbocation is more stable than n propyl carbocation due to more hyperconjugation. check the reference provided by me

Both ethyl carbocation and n-propyl carbocation are primary carbocation . Yet , n-propyl carbocation is more stable than ethyl carbocation . Because , +I effect of ethyl group is slightly higher than +I effect of methyl group. The dominating factor order is as follows Resonance/Mesomeric > Hyperconjugation >Inductive ethyl carbocation has 3 alpha hydrogen whereas n propylcation has 2 alpha hydrogen..And the inductive effect +I of ethyl group is more than +I of methyl group. Experimentally it is seen that inductive effect in this case dominances. So ,n propyl cabocation is more stable than ethyl carbocation.
