can a bounded sequence be infinite ?? plz explain with an example

    If you are talking about terms of sequences Yes , Take Bounded sequence Xn = 0,1,0,1,0,1........ It is bounded and have infinite terms. if you are talking about divergence to infinity Then ,No , Bounded sequence can not diverge ,All of its limits will be in between its lower and upper bound. Take Xn =1/n bounded by 0 and 1 has limit point 0.

    yes , take sequence {1/n }, n belongs to N . it is bounded between 0 and 1 and also is infinite.
