Clarification

in the definition it must be, mod of An-Am right, here it is Sn-Sm why so?? I mean in Cauchy definition it was an-am , in Cauchy's principle it's Sn-Sm y so? when to use that and this?

    Yes, it's correct because these thorem says that after some stage the difference partial sum of the series less than epsilon ,so it follow that the convergent of the given series.
