The exam conducting authority has released some latest updates regarding the CSIR NET Certificates. You can check them below: -
Candidates whose roll numbers are listed in Part 1 of Dec 2019 result (CSIR-JRF/LS and JRF only) can now download their E-certificate.
The Certificates of candidates whose roll numbers are listed in Part 1 of the additional result of CSIR NET June 2019 will be declared by the exam conducting unit. Candidates are required to send self-attested copies of their documents through ordinary post/email.
Due to the Covid-19 situation, it has been decided that the validity period of the CSIR Junior Research Fellowship is extended by 06 months till December 2020

Before downloading the CSIR Award, candidates are required to submit some important documents at the official address of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. After verifying these documents, the award letter will be issued.
Following is the list of required documents–
Marks Statement of the CSIR NET exam.
Admit Card of the exam.
10th Class Marksheet (As a proof of date of Birth).
Final Marksheet of M.Sc., Integrated BS-MS, B.E/B.Tech, B-Pharma, MBBS or an Equivalent Degree with the Required Percentage of Marks.
CGPA/SGPA/OGPA/CPI etc. conversion formula of their respective Universities/Institutes or certificate from concerned University/Institute clearly stating the marks percentage of qualifying degree.
Bifurcation of marks/period in case of a dual degree.
Caste certificate, If Applicable.
Certificate of physical disability (In case of physically handicapped and visually handicapped).
EWS category proof (Income & Asset Certificate) issued by the appropriate competent authority.
While sending the documents, aspirants must superscribe the envelope with “Documents for June 2019 (JRF/LS-PART-I-RESULT) NET Exam and Roll Number____”.
Note - For the candidates whose roll numbers are listed in Part III of the additional result of CSIR NET June 2020. the certificate will be issued by UGC.
CSIR has released some important instructions that should be followed while sending the documents. These are:
OBC aspirants are notified that they have to submit their OBC caste certificate according to the format provided in NCBC Website.
The certificates, which are in the languages other than Hindi and English, should be translated in Hindi or English and attested by the issuing authority of the original certificate.
Candidates who have applied in the Result Awaited (RA) category (MSc or equivalent) should submit the required documents only after completing their qualification.
Candidates who wish to collect their award letter in person may do so on working days from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Such candidates should bring self – attested copies of the above documents with them (Should not be sent by post).
To avoid any complication, candidates must follow the given instructions and send all the required documents to the officials.
Once the certificates are released, students can download them from official website using the following steps.
The CSIR NET Award for Part I & Part II, III will be released separately by UGC and CSIR. Follow the given procedure to download the certificate.
Step 1 - Visit the official link & go to the login area.
Step 2 – Now, fill the required details and click on the “Submit” button.
Step 3 - After a successful login, the letter will appear on the screen. Aspirants can download it and take a printout.
Step-1: Visit the official website of UGC.
Step-2: Click on - “Click here to download e-Certificate of Joint CSIR-UGC TEST from December 2016 onwards".
Step-3: After this, a new window will open with two options “Yes” and “No”.
Option 1 – If you have generated your password through OTP after 1st September 2017 or at the time of the online application of CSIR NET Exam, then select ‘Yes’ and continue.
Option 2 – If you haven’t generated your password through OTP then select ‘No’ and generate the password.
Step-4: Now, enter all the required details correctly and click on the “Login” button to download the certificate.
In case, where the award letter is not received or have any queries regarding issuance, candidates can:
Send an e-mail on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Local candidates can visit the head office of the certification section.
Ask for the certificate by sending a request letter to the Head, NET Bureau, UGC.
You have to send your Roll Number, the slot of exam in which you have appeared and CSIR Ref. No. (if you know) in your request letter.
Note: If you did not submit the documents earlier, you may send them with the request letter.
UGC issues the duplicate certificate only in the case when you lose it or failed to receive the original one. To get the duplicate copy, candidates must follow the given instructions.
Submit an affidavit on a Judicial stamp paper duly attested by the competent authority issued by the UGC mentioning the complete details of the candidate such as – Applicant’s Name, Father’s and Mother’s Names, Exam Date, Roll Number, Subject of the Exam, Candidate’s Address etc.
Applicants have to state in the affidavit that in the case of finding their original CSIR NET Award Letter, they would not misuse the duplicate one and send it back to the NET Bureau.
Along with the affidavit, candidates must also send a demand draft of INR 100/- drawn in favour of the Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi payable at State Bank of India, Service Branch, (Code No. 7687), New Delhi.
Candidates need to attach an attested copy of the FIR registered at the Police Station. The attestation stamp of the Class-I gazetted officer must bear his/her name, designation, and official address.
