Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

current will not flow in the arm AG , so we can neglect that arm . so the equivalent resistance is 14ohm.. i hope you will get the solution....best regards
why will current not flow through AG arm?
because the wire is open circuited at A, where the current will go after A (if it move in GA arm)
oh.. also the i1 current coming from FG enters completely into GH. Which means none of the current flows through GA
yes...
I also provide you a solution..see that..
but if current does not flow through that arm.. the resistance must be infinite isn't it?
yeah resistance is infinite for AG arm that's why current will take the path that has less resistance and move towards GH .
