    Epimers are diastereomers that contain more than one chiral center but differ from each other in the absolute configuration at only one chiral center.

    option D is correct As, C-2 epimer of glucose is Mannose C-3 epimer of glucose is Allose C-4 epimer of glucose is Galactose

    option B glucose and mannise are C2 epimers Explanation- Epimer is a type of isomer, and it refers to one of a pair stereoisomers. The 2 differ configuration at only one stereorganic center For example : Glucose and Mannose are different in one chirality center (c-2), so we can say Mannose epimerized at C-2 relative to Glucose. So, Glucose and Mannose have the same molecular formula (C6H12O6), but with different arrangement and thus we can call them as epimers. Same as glucose and galactose are C4 epimers.
