The person throws a stone in radially outward direction with speed relative R to the disc. Calculate acceleration of stone as seen by the person soon after throwing aan iha ctane is acted upon by centrifugal and coriolis forces. This 2 (Neglect gravity).

    It should not be the case. In my opinion they have solved the question with respect to ground frame. Think in this way, if the man is standing on a rotating disc, the man himself feel centrifugal force. And with respect to Man, the force acting on stone should be coriolis force only.

    here is the solution ,two pseudo forces will act on the stone when seen from rotating frame of reference namely centrifugal and coriolis force. they act in dif directions so need to take their vertor sum and find the magnitude . also note that is the stone also had any intial acceleration that should have also added in vector sum to get the final ans .
