explain reversible and irreversible process with examples ? explain driving force and opposing force in both process? please explain 6th point in both of them in attachment?

    Any process that takes place spontaneously without doing work is irreversible. Another example of an irreversible process is the direct transfer of heat from a hot object to a cold object. If you put an ideal Carnot engine between the heat reservoirs, work is done and the cycle is reversible. It is easy to think up irreversible processes such as the evaporation of liquid, the mixing of various substances, the combustion of coal in the open air. It takes imagination to devise a reversible path for many of these processes, but it can be done.

    So irreversible procees can be performed in practice because it takes place spontaneously
