Explain the answer

can anyone explain me the answer or where i clear this comcept?

    see, energy loss occur due to frictional forces as some energy is used to overcome frictional forces. Also ,in case of rolling without slipping the point which is in contact with the surface is at rest means v=0 ( refer 11th books for more clarity).Now for energy loss we have to focus on only frictional force i.e, how much work is done by frictional force, and it is given by integration over the product of friction force and displacement. And frictional force depends on velocity and size ,so write displacement in the form of velocity and velocity where frictional is acting is zero. So, energy loss is zero.
