Explain the graphs given here please..... I am not able to understand the graphs

    mansi as you know the place around the atom where probability of finding electrons is maximum is called orbital and where it is least or tends to zero is called node...so two nodes are there the angular nodes is just the azimuthal quantum number and radial nodes is n-l-1 ..so total nodes =n-1 ...so you see in 2S the node is 2 ,in 3s it is 3,in 2P it is 1...so inthis way the graph is plotted

    How 3 in 3s.... and 2 in 2s.. seeing both ways... It should be 2 in 3s and 1 in 2s... Then why 3 in 3s and 2 in 2s are shown??

    yes mansi u r right...sorry i am writing wrong above....total nodes=n-1 but see i havewritten above..but in subtarction i miswrite there
