    for x-ray line of spectrum the frequency is directly proportional to square of the element and in hydrogen spectrum it is directly proportional to atomic number but mam has taken Z instead of Zยฒ

    Mam!!! in hydrogen atom spectrum the frequency is directly proportional to atomic number Z but in x-ray line of spectrum, frequency is directly proportional to square of the atomic number of the element Zยฒ...........................and here is the question of X-Ray line spectrum but you are taken the frequency as just directly proportional to atomic number and not square of it???
