    see the all attatched. here angle made from x axis whereas the thitha from dipole. in question angle made from the x axis which is the similar to the given. see the attached.

    here is the solution , I have used the radial formula of electric field due to a dipole and then find the angle between r component and theta component , this can also be done by writing r cap and theta cap in term of i and j .feelfree for any doubts

    option d is correct, E is resultant of E along r and E along theta, resultant E makes angle alpha with x-axis so E along theta/E along r= tan(alpha)... hope this solution help u.. for any query please ask..
