For a isothermal process how delta e is zero?

for an isothermal process how delta E is zero? and why in the first operation of carnot cycle we are taking delta e =0.

    For ideal gas only delta E will be zero . As delta E is a function of temperature for ideal gas. Since the process is isothermal means delT is zero so delE will also be zero
