For a linear first order differential equations, how could we came to know by seeing the question whether it will a homogeneous equation or it will solve by multiplying I.F, etc. Because to check all the process it will take more time any tips for that type or questions. so that we can solve the problem within a few minutes.

    as shown below, you can multiply both x and y by n, then try to take n common from both numerator and denominator, if you can do so, then it is homogeneous equation. best regards.

    Actually I know the method...but by checking the equation by all methods it will take much time. so i need some tips so that by seeing the equation we can get the idea to solve

    the power of variable shows it it sum of all power are equal in step then that is homogeneous differential eqn.
