    Ans= 500, Please see the solution; 2 ppm = 2mg/Kg. To produce 1kg of gold the amount of ore required is 1kg/(2mg/kg) = (10^6/2) kg = (5 x 10^5) kg = 500 x 10^3 Kg

    1.Assay value is the ore content in the whole mining body ( ore+gangue) 2.Here 2ppm means 2 part in 10^6 part. Or 10^6 part of whole Rock contains 2 part. it's a ratio so i can say 10^6 gm ore contains 2gm gold or 2gm from 10^6 gm 1000gm/1kg from = (10^6/2 * 1000) 500*10^6 gm =500*10^3kg
