General doubt on force

since action and reaction don't cancel each other then how a body be in static equilibrium i.e,the net force is zero?

    mg ka reaction mg hi hoga aur normal ka reaction normal hi hoga. earth hm pr agr mg downward laga rhi h to hm bhi earth pr mg upward laga rhe h . same as normal . hm equilibrium m isliye h ki normal aur mg equal and opposite h jo hmari body pr lag rha h . one thing remember that action reaction hmesha 2 different body pr lagta h .

    body placed in a ground is not a case of action reaction, action reaction always acts on different bodies.. body placed in ground is a case of equilibrium where normal force balance weight of body..

    I have attached a demonstration showing that action reaction are always same, they act on different bodies(here action acts on earth and reaction acts on the block of mass). As, mass block is in contact with earth surface, a contact force called Normal. is acting, which makes the system static. Best regards.
